What the desk is

You name the rooms in the house. Each room keeps its own chores. A chore repeats on its own clock — daily, weekly, every few days, or another cycle you set. Today’s list shows only what is due or late. Finish every due chore before midnight and the streak stays. A skip does not count as done and does not extend the streak.

Rooms, chores, and today’s sweep

Name the rooms — Kitchen, bath, shared hallway, or any room you add. Each room keeps its own chores.
Set a cycle — A chore repeats on its own clock. Today’s sweep lists only what is due or late.
Check in — Mark a chore done, or skip it. A skip keeps the chore late.
Notes and photos — You may add a note. A photo is added only when you pick one for that check-in.

History, calendar, and stats

Finished sweeps land in history. The calendar marks swept days and missed days. A day counts when every due chore is checked in. Stats on the device show streak days, an on-time share, late items, and a room-by-room share for the last seven days. The application does not verify that a chore was completed in the house.

Starter templates

Starter sets live on the phone. You copy one into a room, then edit the cycles.

Studio reset — A short weekly pass for a one-room place.
Shared house week — A longer set that can be split by person.
Move-in deep clean — Once, then archive.

Reminders and appearance

You still see today’s rooms when you open the application. A reminder stays off until you turn it on. You can decline notification permission and keep using sweeps and history. Appearance can be Linen or Evening hearth. Both stay on the device.

Backup and export

Backup writes a JSON file you choose in the system picker: rooms, chores, and check-ins. Export can write a CSV of check-ins to a folder you pick. Nothing is uploaded. If you cancel the picker, the records on the phone stay as they were. Keep your own backup if you need a copy. Clearing data or uninstalling removes the local copy from that phone.
